Hi, I am Baohan. I’m 13 and I own and operate this website thingy. I have the basics of human beings; I have two eyes, two ears, a nose and a mouth. I do not wish to have more or less. What I already own is far enough for me. I mean, how many of us use our ears?

I am a rather stubborn and spontaneous individual who comes full package as a narcissist. I have a passionate relationship with myself and would like to keep it that way just ’cause. My hobbies include fooling around, designing stuff and sitting on my arse which I am really good at doing.

Apart from sitting on my arse all the time, I do actually do some activities such as Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lingren and Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell along with many other (which I do, lying on my bed). Aside from reading, I do write poems and short stories. My poems and stories are not really good or in another word - like shit. Many people who are reading this probably ask what’s my mother tongue is; well I’ll tell you, it’s Vietnamese.

Besides lying around, the thing that makes me “me” is my superior skill of procrastination. I procrastinate with everything, from doing my homework to updating this blog.

Other than procrastinating, music is another part of me. I sing in the school choir; because of my range of voice (from Tenor to Soprano), I am pretty much everywhere asides from Alto because I don’t have any chairs to sit in. My musical mood is pretty strange as I can listen to many “hardcore” (whatever you define the word as) artists like Apocalyptica, Nightwish, Within Temptation and then switch to cheesy ballad from Guns N’ Roses and Skid Row. I also listen to Eminem and Tupac.

When I’m not found doing any of the listed above, I can be found taking pictures of pretty things or just simply searching the net for some interesting stuffs (interesting stuffs meaning watching What the Buck on Youtube). I have no particular hobby that I do everyday.

Currently, I am a student at the British International School Vietnam. I don’t really like schools and I don’t really know why. I’m not into sports or sciences. I’m the type of person who walks down the hallway and you’ll say: “Who is she?” (if anyone actually see me…), along with my brat pack, of course.

Until now, I still don’t understand how some people can make their “about me” page so long. I guess I’ll give up at this point.

About Backstaged

Well, Backstaged is like most of the other teens’ weblog. The history is kind of the same. I’ll tell you the long story - short version right now.

So my first ever web-design (am I allow to say so?) experience is on April of 2007. I was on Piczo at that time. I’m sure most of us start there. After about some months, maybe four, I got hosted by Lucy (who sadly doesn’t own any website right now) and my first website’s name was ‘classic’ since I love classic movies.

Later on, I convinced my mom to let me buy my own domain. My first choice wasn’t Backstaged, it was ’serene’ with a .nu domain. However, someone have already register the domain name before I did (haha, great minds think alike or, maybe fools never differ…) so I came up with backstaged.net which is a beautiful weblog name. Then, I used Awardspace for web-hosting for a while. After that, I moved host to Rachael who is still hosting me now. By the way, my domain died so I’m sticking with a sub-domain until I find my mom happy enough again (unless I use my own money which I’m not willing to :P).
